New in Follain Body
I’m so behind on blogging but have been keen on being better about sharing some of the products I so graciously receive from brands. Follain was so kind to send me some of the products from their own, in-house signature line.
Refillable Everything Soap | This comes in 2 scents, lemongrass and lavender, and is quite literally an “everything” soap. Use it for your body, use it for your dishes, and even use it for your pets! I used mine as a hand soap and even as a dish wash - tempted to try this on Ollie but we have quite a lot of his own pet wash left. I commend brands that make an effort to be greener by offering refillable options - you can even order it and just fill your bottle at home! You can buy a 38 oz refill in either scent - lemongrass or lavender.
Instant Glow Body Oil
Shea body Scrub | I loved the scent of this but this one was a tad too greasy for my taste. I know some people really like scrubs that are extra oily so that it hydrates your skin, but I’m just not one of those people. I tried my best to like it but it just didn’t mesh with me. I also dropped this in the shower once and it cracked the corner so I ended up tossing it since I didn’t feel as though it was sanitary anymore.
Everybody Bar Soap | One area I would like to try to work on is using bar soaps more frequently to help cut down on the amount of plastic I use.
Everywhere Lotion | I hate lotions that are extremely greasy and takes a while to sink in, luckily this isn’t one of them. I wasn’t too fond of the scent of the one I received so I ended up passing it along to a friend, but I’d be open to getting a different scent in the future!
Lip Balm | This is the same shape as the Drunk Elephant Lippe Balm! I think it’s a bit funny to have a lip balm in this shape but it works. I have so many lip balms to try so I haven’t tried this one yet, but I’ve heard good things so I can’t wait to finally try it out!
Rose Body Butter | This stuff is thicccc. It’s extremely heavy and the smallest amount can be worked in for extreme hydration.
Candle (No. 1) | I’ll admit I haven’t burned this one yet, but as we are officially in Fall I’m hyped for candle burning season. The cold throw of this candle was nice and smelled so calming. I’m excited to burn this one and I’ve heard that it burns well and evenly (always a plus). It’s also a nice sized jar so I’m sure it’ll be
Two-Toned Follain Pouch | I love how simplistic the pouches are and this one is a great size for all my essentials that I keep at work. I keep a mini mirror, concealer, mini hair brush, and perfume vial for touchups that I might need if a client surprise visits me or if our director asks me to join her in a last minute interview.
