The Laneige Lip Saver
I may have found my new holy grail lip product, and that comes housed in this pink tub of goodness: the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask *. I have always had overly chapped lips, mostly due to my lack of water intake. Drinking water is always a difficult task for me as I never actually feel thirsty - and I can tell that the lack of drinking water leaves my skin and lips dehydrated.
I was recently sent a box of cult Korean beauty products to try courtesy of YesStyle. I'm still currently working my way through the products to give you guys my good two cents, but this is one item that I've fallen head over heels for.
When I first opened this I was pretty excited as I had walked by the Laneige counter at Target numerous times. I had never tried anything from the brand but I did like the simplicity of their products. The product looked thick and waxy and I almost expected it to be of a similar texture to the Nuxe Reve de Miel. When I reached in for some product I was surprised to find it extremely soft - very similar to the Dior Creme de Rose balm. It has a sweet strawberry scent and melts onto your lips to leave a glossy finish. Even with the glossy finish, I still find the product on my lips when I wake up the next morning. It isn't overly sticky or uncomfortable and I can easily rinse it off when I wash my face in the morning.
My lips have never felt so soft and I owe it all to this little tub. I'm so infatuated with it I even took it with me on my recent trip to Chicago. It helped keep my lips hydrated and looking great in the sweltering heat of the midwest.
If you've been dealing with dry, chapped lips - look no further. Get this ASAP and start prepping your lips for Fall because I don't know about you, but I'm getting ready to pull out all my vampy lipsticks. And to wear them I'll need my lips to be in tip top shape.
