G I F T G U I D E 1 7 | Stocking Stuffers For The Beauty Lover & Gifting w/ Soap and Glory
If there's one thing all beauty lovers love - it's minis. Mini makeup, mini skincare, mini candles - you name it. Why do you think Sephora has all their minis at the checkout line? It's the most dangerous part of the store and the most tempting. This is the perfect time of year to gift those beloved minis to any friends. They don't break the bank as much, they're cute, and they're finishable!
I accumulate a ton of beauty and skincare minis - mostly as free GWP and samples from Sephora. I hoard a lot of these when they're too good of deals to pass up. Even if it's not necessarily something I know I'll use, I get it because I know it'll make a great gift later on. Around now, holiday sets come up in full force with minis of everything left and right. This is the perfect time to test out items you may have been eyeing, while gifting away some bits you may not like as much.
Some of my favorite suggestions are as follows:
- Mini Hand Creams // I scored this 12 piece set from Crabtree & Evelyn that came in a lovely floral tin box. My mom already called dibs on the tin but I'll be gifting the hand creams to my coworkers since we have stockings up on our cubes! Some other great brands are L'Occitane, Soap & Glory, and Caudalie.
- Nail Polish // These aren't actually minis, but I think a good top/base coat, neutral polish, or even cuticle oil is great to gift. They're a practical gift and something everyone could use.
- Lip Care Products // These days there are a ton of fancy lip balms (Glossier, Tatcha, Basalt Basalt) & masks (Laneige, Nugg, Patchology). Treat someone to an upgrade from their typical chapstick and give them something luxurious to touch on.
- Skincare Products // Skincare minis are the easiest to collect and save for gifting. I have an entire bag of minis that I've been saving to try but I've accepted reality that I won't be able to use them all. I'm putting together a mini giveaway but am also planning on gifting some away this holiday season.
Speaking of Beauty Lover - one of the best gifts to give this holiday season (without breaking the bank) has to be Soap & Glory. They have a ton of gift sets that range from small to large. Soap & Glory is also now conveniently stocked at Ulta and Target making it extremely accessible! Soap & Glory has been a brand that's been on my list since I first began watching YouTube about 5ish years ago. When they slowly made there way to the U.S. I started trying product by product, and about half a decade later (omg) I'm still loving the brand. The scent is fun and fresh, not sickly, but also somehow soothing. The original scent has to be my favorite but the other scents are also lovely.
Some of the sets that caught my eye include the following. I was kindly gifted 4 of them by Soap & Glory which I think are all great!
- Wait on Hand & Foot
- Soaper Heroes *
- Wash Upon a Star *
- Glow Maintenance
- Soaperwoman
- So Much Butter
- Box of De-Lights
- Hello Super Spa *
These sets are great to give as one, but if you're looking to pick up a bunch of gifts for several people you can break up a set and gift them individually. There are tons of small items which are perfect to mix and match when gifting or dropping into a stocking.
What are some of your favorite minis to receive? What would be the best type of beauty-based stocking stuffer you'd love to receive?
