Holiday Gifting with Laneige
K-Beauty is a world I haven’t delved all too much into, but there are some brands that I’ve tried here and there. One brand that has constantly popped up over the years has to go to Laneige - they came, they saw, they conquered. Their Lip Sleeping Mask is iconic and I believe every household should have at least one (yes, no joke). For years all of us in the U.S. have ooh-ed and ahh-ed at all of the launches Laneige had over in Korea. Lucky for us, they’re really working on expanding their ranges into the U.S. and I’m here for it. Lucky for most of us, Sephora carries Laneige so it’s quite easy for most of us to get our hands on some products! The Laneige team over at Amore Pacific was so kind to send me their selection of gift boxes for this upcoming holiday season. I thought these were fun and a great way to try products so I wanted to share them with you all! (No, this post isn’t sponsored - I just wanted to get back in the swing of posting ✌🏼).
LANEIGE Kiss Me at Midnight ($28) || This includes a full size of the original lip sleeping mask in their classic berry scent along with 2 minis of some fun new scents (mint choco + sweet candy). If you do a cost break down, it is a bit pricey as the full-sized lip sleeping mask will run you $20, meaning these minis will run you $4 a pop. If you’re into either scent then go for it, otherwise you might be better off getting the originals. They did bring out both the mint choco + sweet candy in full size jars as well here.
LANEIGE Kiss Me All Day ($35) || These usually sell for $15 each, so if you’re interested in having multiple flavors or will split a pack with friends, this one is a deal.It also could make a great stocking stuffer for the holidays 😉. I picked up one of the berry lip glowy balms a while back so I gifted one of my extras to my bff. This set comes with three scents: berry, pear, and peach.
While these glowy lip balms still pack the flavor, I don’t find these to be *as* hydrating as the lip sleeping mask (and I don’t expect it to be - the other has mask in the name). But for daytime use, I think these are great! And I love that I don’t have to use my finger to apply it when I’m outside because that’s unsanitary and probably my only issue with the lip sleeping masks.
LANEIGE Hydration Dream Team ($51) || When a k-skincare product says it’s going to pack in the hydration, you best believe it. While 2 of these products are new-to-me, there are also 2 trusty products - the lip sleeping mask (again - but in an actual mini form of the original mask!!) and a mini (!!!) of the new Cream Skin Toner + Moisturizer. I’ve been using the Cream Skin for a while now and absolutely love how it packs in as much hydration as a moisturizer while being thin enough to pat into your skin. Let me tell you, this stuff was a lifesaver during the hot Summer as I could not be bothered to apply moisturizer 🤫. I’m glad to have a mini of this as I’m sure my skin will need it when I head to Europe this Winter! Definitely eyeing up the mist version they have in Korea and fingers crossed it’ll make its way to the U.S. soon. One product I’m really looking forward to is the Water Sleeping Mask - i’ve heard great things about this and am excited to test it out. I have heard that this one packs quite a strong fragrance so fingers crossed that this one doesn’t end up being too heavily scented for me.
Will you be picking up any of the LANEIGE sets from Sephora? If you’ve tried anything from them, what’s your favorite?
