Slow Mornings with East Fork Pottery
One of the things I am most grateful for with covid has been my slow mornings. Not having to commute to work has meant I have longer to enjoy a slower and peaceful routine. Seeing as though my “commute” to work is about a 1 minute walk across the house, it has been very relaxing. I’ll get ready for the day and while I do my makeup, I start boiling some water in my Fellow Stagg Electric Kettle. I’ve been enjoying trying out some different coffee beans and have been eyeing the Fellow Grinder so that I can buy more beans to try. It’ll allow me to grind what I need without feeling the need to rush through a bag.
Near the beginning of lockdown, I splurged and treated myself to this beautiful olive wood pour-over set. This comes with a little glass pitcher so you can bring it over to the table if you’re making more than 1 cup. Most often it’s just me so I sometimes just place my mug under to catch all the liquid gold.
I’ve been loving East Fork Pottery and it’s been a little over a year and a half since I first added some pieces into my collection. EF just ran their seasonal color release of Harvest Moon which is a gorgeous deep mustard-y color. Occasionally they have some small batch pieces that they release, like this Third Wave Mug. I follow their IG account and am also subscribed to their newsletter. If you’re looking to add some beautiful and unique pieces to your collection, I could not recommend this brand enough! Their prices are a little high, but the quality of their pieces are thick and hefty and I know that they will last for years to come.
I recently became an affiliate with East Fork Pottery, so if you’re interested in shopping please click here and shop through my link! I do make a small commission on each order and that helps me keep this space (and IG) up and running!
