Parachute Oversized Rib Knit Throw
I recently became a Parachute Brand Ambassador and they kindly gifted me a few pieces, including this Oversized Rib Knit Throw*.
I wanted a light throw that I could curl up with in the warmer months. Our house is a Spanish Revival style and it regulates the temperature quite well throughout the year. Even when it’s sunny and ~80F outside, our house is a cool 60F or so inside. While it’s not cold enough to warrant bundling up with a thick blanket, I do sometimes want something to lightly wrap around myself and this one is perfect (my dog, Ollie, is also a fan).
To pair with our white Six Penny Aria Sofa I thought I would opt for something lighter (maybe also so my dog’s hairs wouldn’t be as apparent), so I chose Flax. It’s a lovely taupe/oatmeal color which really warms up the space and makes it feel cozy. This is made from a natural Turkish cotton in a rib pattern, which Parachute describes as a sweater for your bed or sofa.
Measurement wise this is a decent size, it’s 60”x80”. Big enough to share while sitting with someone else across your legs or to completely wrap yourself in it.
Just a reminder that Parachute’s sale (which only happens twice a year) will be happening later this month in May where everything is 20% off. This is the perfect time to pick up any pieces you’ve been eyeing, especially bedding sets!
If you end up picking anything up from Parachute (during the sale or the rest of the year), I would appreciate if you use my Parachute link. There is no additional cost to you and I make a sizeable commission from the brand for referring you, which allows me to continue creating content and running this space.
