Visit Napa | Chandon

My bestie loves Chandon so when we visited Napa earlier this year, it was a must to go visit the recently renovated Chandon. Around the holidays in 2023 I came across a winter wine walk at the updated winery. Our group had a little too much fun the night before and a slightly hung over wine tasting day meant less desired tastings lol. We ended up skipping that time but it was fine as I was able to come here on a little double date with my bestie AND our two pups of honor.

Napa Winery Seating Among Greenery and Under Oak Trees

The grounds are stunning. While our reservation wasn’t out under a cabana or under the trees, I’ll definitely be trying to come back another time to go for a little walk around the grounds. Onto the tastings, I will say that Chandon will likely be on the pricier side of any visits you have planned in Napa.

  • A standard tasting may cost you anywhere from $65 to $77.

  • If you want a more intimate group tasting, your price could range from $95+.

  • A tasting in one of the garden cabanas would be ~$160/guest.

  • A tasting under the trees starts at a whoppppping $4,130 for 14 guests. That is $295/guest. Whew.

I will admit that I am a wimp when it comes to bubbly. It does not settle well with my stomach so I usually can’t handle an entire flight on my own lol. But I did enjoy the atmosphere and next time would probably share a flight + pick up a bottle for special occasions.

This winery was one of the few dog friendly options we visited! Our pups loved it and they got a lot of friendly pets from other winery guests. Even if you aren’t big on tastings, this is definitely a winery to visit just for it’s sheer beauty.
