Take 5: Easy Weekend Look

Charlotte Tilbury, Barbarella Brown, NYX, NARS Douceur, Dior Rose, Tarte Splashes

Weekends are simple and relaxing and my makeup usually goes one of two ways: extremely laid back, or extremely dolled up. This weekend was more so about doing some Spring cleaning and running errands, so I took these 5 items for an easygoing, laid-back look, and decided to do a quick post on it for ya.

In general I like to go easy on my face makeup, but on weekends especially I'll just go for a few dabs of concealer over any scars or redness around the nose. I've rekindled my love with my

NYX HD Concealer

- I abandoned this product to try the NARS Creamy Concealer, and I really don't know why I switched. I definitely much prefer the formulation on this, I feel as though there's less oil buildup at the end of the day, and for a fraction of a price my face and wallet are definitely happy. For the eyes I usually smudge in some brown eyeliner for a soft and subtle look. I recently picked up this

Charlotte Tilbury 'Rock 'n' Kohl' Liner

in Barbarella Brown and wow, application is a cinch with this thing. It's a beautiful, deep dark brown color and glides on like a dream. I usually opt for waterproof mascara since I'm going easy on the eye makeup, this just ensures that my eyelashes stay curled and eye-opening all day long. I usually grab a soft pink or peach colored blush and throw some on on the apples of my cheeks. I'm still loving NARS Douceur, it's a beautiful dusty rose color that leaves the subtlest amount of color on my cheeks. Last for lips I usually like to go simple and throw on some lip balm, with Spring upon us I've been reaching back in my drawers for the

Dior Creme de Rose

lip balm. I absolutely love all things Rose and this is no exception, it's moisturizing, hydrating, has SPF10 and smells delightful.

What are some of your quick picks for an easy weekend look?

Have a wonderful weekend full of exciting adventures!

Cheers!
