Life Lately // Rambling Thoughts on Blogging
As I've been recovering, I've been home/working from home for the past 2 or so weeks. With all the new found time, sans the horrors of commuting and traffic, I've been able to contribute a lot more time to this little space. I've been toying with the idea of moving my blog to a new platform, one that offered more options for personal customization and a lot more creativity. You may notice that this space is slightly different, I hope you like the simplicity of it because I sure do.
With this new space has come a re-fuel of excitement for this space. I recently passed 100 followers which I know isn't much, but to me it was a really exciting milestone. It got me thinking a lot about why I started blogging and I've come to the conclusion that it's mostly for me. When people would ask me what my hobbies were before, I would be a bit stumped as all I did really was watch TV. But I have a rather large knowledge of TV shows, actors, and have a pretty good idea of how TV shows will take a spin. Dream job? Possibly writing scripts for TV shows. I digress. When I thought about whether an interest in beauty could be a hobby, such as watching YouTube videos, reading blogs, and experimenting with different makeup products. And earlier this year I really just thought, why not start a blog? It was something I had thought about for a while. And my conclusion? I wish I had done it sooner.
Enough rambling on for now, but please bear with me as I put my website design hat on and figure out the kinks to this site and learn how to better improve this space. I'm really getting into a groove and working to figure out my personal photo and editing style, which I'm really coming to enjoy. So I hope you enjoy this new space and the ease of viewing.
Let me know what you think!
