What's In My Bag // October 2015
I don't know about you but I've always been pretty nosy about wanting to know what other people have in their bags. Obviously I don't carry a candle around in my bag, but it finally started to feel like Fall this past weekend and a little candle burning had to be done.
Everyday basics that are in my bag everyday are my trusty Aesop Resurrection Aromatique Hand Balm, RayBans, and Madewell Card Wallet. In my bag you will always find a few too many lip products because I am one of the most indecisive people ever. I will go out wearing one shade and throw it in my bag, and when I get home I'll throw on a different shade and throw that in my bag without taking out the first. This tends to go on, and sometimes I can have a handful of lip products in my bag at any one time. One thing you can always find is a lip balm of some sort, and typically it's the Fresh Sugar Lip Treatments. But as I'm trying to rotate in more of my products, I swapped it out for the Dior Creme de Rose Lip Balm. Honestly I haven't used this too much as I feel like it's too luxurious for everyday use, and I've been saving it. But honestly that's a silly way to go about it because then the product is really just going to waste. So this one is in my bag for a while and I'm set on using it more. Obviously I'm feeling the berry tones as I have three varying shades right now in my bag. As noted in my Autumn Picks, there are a bunch of shades that I'm excited to use and these three are really getting to work. The Laura Mercier Rouge Nouveau Lip Colour in Sin is one that I'm most excited to use, it's a lightweight formula with a touch of color that is easy enough to use for everyday wear without being too over the top. Next in line would be the NARS Lip Pencil in Damned, which is great for adding a touch of color to my always neutral outfits. For channeling my inner vamp, I've been loving the Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick in Glastonberry - from the packaging, to the wear, to the color. I typically can't be bothered to have a ton of stuff in my bag as I prefer to use a small crossbody - although it could be cheating as I have a lot of essentials in my car in case of emergencies.
Do you ever have too many lip products in your bag at once?
