Lipstick Wardrobe // October
I saw a post for a monthly lipstick wardrobe and I thought it would be a fun challenge. I've been wanting to get more use out of all of my products and this was a great way to get myself to do just that. (Swatches L-R: Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment in Plum, Bare Minerals in Break Away, Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution in Glastonberry, NARS Lip Pencil in Damned, and Laura Mercier Rouge Nouveau Lip Colour in Sin.) I enjoyed rotating in and out my lip products that I'm pretty sure I'll want to challenge myself to do this every month - we'll see how that goes.
While reading through Tasha's Treat Yourself Post, I was reminded of the Bare Minerals Marvelous Moxie Lipstick in Break Away. It has a tackier consistency and a sweet smell, but boy does it have a punch of color and does it stay on for a long while. It's a beautiful deep mauve color that's great for everyday wear.
All of the other picks I've gone into in my Autumn Picks post. Can you tell I'm really feeling all the berry and plum shades? It's finally starting to feel like Fall in California and I'm so excited to finally pull out my sweaters and scarves.
