Spring Fragrance Refresh

I can’t believe we’re nearing one-year in lockdown due to COVID. There are many things that I miss, but along with wearing some light makeup day-to-day, I’m trying to be better about spritzing and wearing perfume more regularly. I have this little terrazzo tray that I picked up on our honeymoon and it’s been my go-to area to house my perfume rotation these days. Alongside with my makeup, I’m trying to be better about rotating in and out my fragrances. While I do feel like most of my fragrances are wearable year-round, there are some that I just associate more with certain times of the year or ones I just find to be *brighter* or more uplifting. Many of these are ones you’ve heard me speak of before, and some which are new-er (or not if you follow me on IG).

• Diptyque Eau Rose |
  This is still one of my all time favorite scents. It’s a bright and fruity rose scent and it wears so well throughout the day. I wear this one throughout the year but I particularly reach for it a lot once the weather starts warming up and the days just feel brighter. I have the perfume bottle in their old packaging and I’m finally down to the bottom 1/4 of my bottle, I would definitely repurchase as soon this runs out.

  This one is a soft floral/jasmine scent which is a bit of a grandma scent but I personally love it haha. I can’t find this in stock anywhere which has me panicking that they’ve discontinued it. Hopefully it’s just out of stock and not actually gone forever.

• Chloe EDP |
  This is one of my all-time favorites and I still think if I had to wear one scent for the rest of my life, I could do it with this. I wore it on my wedding day as well so it’ll always hold a special place in my heart ❤️. This one is described as a floral/powdery scent but to me it just smells like a warm floral hug.

• Commodity Nectar * |
  I love orange blossom scents and while I haven’t spritzed this one in a while, but it’s a good one. This feels bright and warm and it brings me back to 2017/2018 when I first got it and was living out on my own with T for the first time ☺️

  ** Also Commodity had closed I think in 2019 but it looks like they’re back! So now I don’t feel bad to share my favorite Commodity scent in posts again. I also don’t have to worry about finishing this and not being able to replace it.

• Glossier You * | (Paid with partial credit)
  This is one of my classic year-round scents that I love. I particularly like to wear it when I wear a more bad-ass outfit? LOL. Idk it has a musky scent and I always get compliments when I wear it.

• BVLGARI Eau Parfum Eau Parfumée Au Thé Blanc *| (Previous paid partnership but this is not part of it)
  This one has a sweet and musky fragrance which I adore (clearly). When I was in high school/college I wore the Marc by Marc Jacobs perfume and this feels very much more like a grown up version of that while also being a bit lighter and not as strong. I also got this right before my one year anniversary trip to SLO so this brings up some sweet memories.
