White Water | Cambria, California

A few postcards from one of my favorite hotels that I have ever stayed at. A year into the pandemic, we went on a few mini staycations in central California for a little getaway and a little nature. Tied together with traveling to SLO for our friends’ wedding, we tacked on a little stay at this hotel that had been on my wishlist for a while. We stayed at another hotel that was also redone by the same designer over in San Luis Obispo, the San Luis Creek Lodge (post here).

The lobby was one of the most beautiful spaces I’ve been in, and the panoramic window views were so relaxing. If we’re ever fortunate enough to have a home in a small beach town, these are very much the vibes I would love the space to emulate. Imagine a cute little vacation home like this, it would be the perfect escape.

I loved the little bar area they had to grab some drinks in-between visiting the town and dinner. We enjoyed the views and then sat in their little library area where T taught me how to play backgammon (better late than never, right)?
