Mini Storage Haul - Muji Dupe?

Catch-All Dish, Homeware

Happy Friday everyone! Bringing you a quick post for an exciting purchase I made earlier this week.

I was walking around Daiso (an Asian Dollar Store) near my house and came across these plastic storage trays that were all too familiar. They were an exact replica of a MUJI storage system I have been eyeing - but at a fraction of the price. The MUJI PP Boxes come in all different shapes and sizes, ranging from $2-5 per container and lid. The Daiso counterparts come in the exact same sizes, but at a lower cost of $1.50 each. However, I didn't look at the larger sized storage systems, only the smaller makeup sized pieces, so I can't compare the price range of the larger items. I ended up grabbing a few makeup sized trays and containers to test out. While walking through the dishware aisles I came across some cute catch-all plates - I love to use these plates/trays to put my rings and watches on. Dishes are a great way to liven up a room, and hey - when I have my own place I'll be set with dishes for dinner parties and appetizers, right? I've already decided to place one tray on my desk and one on my nightstand. And for the cherry on top? All of these items came out to a total under $15.  I'm all for it.
